A few times a year, I go to career day events a local schools. I’m always impressed at the variety of people who volunteer their time to talk with kids about their jobs. When I received a packet from the school following the event, I assumed it would be a nice letter from the principal. I was right. But, in adddition to that, they included hand-made thank you notes from some of the children that saw my presentation. I smiled all the way home from the post office. And I still smile when I look at them. So, that’s how to make someone’s day.
