I posted a few images from one of our sessions with Snowyi in a previous blog post. I had the opportunity to photograph Snowyi and her owners several times and it’s hard not to feel the pain when a dog you’ve come to know passes away. It’s always hard to hear – there really are no words – only feelings – and they hit hard and run deep. If you are reading this, undoubtedly, you’ve been touched deeply by an animal in your life so you know what I mean.

Snowyi’s mom asked me to help her put together a memorial for Snowyi using images from our sessions and personal images that she had of Snowyi with her family. Below is a tribute to Snowyi:

All dogs are beautiful, but Snowyi is especially so with her snow white fluffiness and wonderful smile.  Here are a few images of her from a recent session.

Update on post:  Sadly, Snowyi crossed over the rainbow bridge.   I had the opportunity to photograph her several times and she opened herself up each time and allowed us to capture her beautiful spirit.  I feel very lucky to have known her.
