Henry and Bandit

These two gorgeous boys are the adopted brothers of Tater and Chase.

Meet Henry.  He’s a Catahoula/Coon Hound mix who was adopted from H.A.R.T. He’d make a great comedian with his deadpan look.

I swear he has a sense of humor because he sure smiled a lot!

This is his brother, Bandit, who is also a rescue.

Next, we’ll show some images of the whole family!  Please come back!

Fall Leaves – Juno

Fall is here, and while it’s a little muted compared to last year, there is still beautiful color to see.  Here’s my dog Juno who was adopted from the Animal Welfare League of Arlington – they have some really gorgeous dogs (and other animals) there right now.

Dog Friends & Holiday Cards (a la Abbey & Shakespeare)

Holiday cards are in full swing right now and the designs often stay under wraps until they are sent out.

Every year Abbey and Shakespeare, two amazing Basset Hounds, have a birthday party and invite their best dog friends.  So, for the Christmas card last year, their owner wanted to feature those dog friends.   Here is everyone getting ready for the image:

Below is the final image that was in the inside of the card:

I love the creative ideas that happen this time of year!  Abbey and Shakespeare won’t disapoint – this years card is fantastic!!!!

Husker and Her Family – Part 1

Meet Husker.  She was adopted from H.A.R.T., (which is also where I adopted my dog, Sierra).  Husker is definitely one of a kind.

Our goal for this session was to capture some lifestyle images of Husker’s family doing what they love to do.  This is the sign that greets you when you walk in their house.

We started out with a few family photos on the deck.

Then went outside to play a little Frisbee.

Of course, we had to include some quick pictures of their two cats, Chopper and Tipsy.  Here’s Chopper who was adopted from a Jacksonville, FL, animal shelter.

And here’s Tipsy who was rescued from a home in Jacksonville, Florida.  She was covered in fleas and white fur balls at about 6 weeks old.  She’s absolutely gorgeous now.

Next we drove to the hangar to take some pictures of Husker and his humans with the plane Ryan flies.  Those pictures will be in the next post and I have to say, they’re pretty cool.
