Boston Terrier Puppies
Prepare for cuteness. This is a new litter of Boston Terriers and our goal was to capture a family portait with the new puppies. We had a lot of fun trying different options for grouping the pups together. Belle is the mom and the other adult dog in the image is her sister, Chloe. Belle had a litter of three girls, all black brindle, named Daphne, Emma and Libby, and they all have wonderful homes.

What’s in your puppy drawer?

This one made us all laugh every time we saw it!
Puppies, puppies, and more puppies!
We had the opportunity to photograph Ming and her nine Westie (West Highland White Terriers) puppies. They were even cuter in person! The goal was to capture a family portrait before the puppies went away to their forever homes. (Three have already left since our session.)
Just for fun, I included some of the “behind the scenes” photos so you can get a sense of what it was like.
No, they didn’t just sit there for the photos . . .

And here’s a more formal portrait on a fancy couch . . .
And here’s what it was like for most of the images . . .
These three cuties did hang out and pose for a few images – I think they were starting to ham it up . . .

The Power of Two
Well, Spring has sprung. Not only are people out enjoying the weather, so are dogs. I’ve had the opportunity to photograph lots of dogs outside lately, and not just individual dogs, but dogs in pairs. One is great – but you can see how much fun two have together.
Meet Bo and Puck. They are 5 and 4 months old, respectively, and they love to play the chase game. These Bichon puppies are very resourceful as well. Even though they have lots of toys to choose from, they prefer a pinecone they found outside.

Then, there was Hogan and Halle – two gorgeous English black labs. Of course, they love the water, so here are a few images of them enjoying themselves together.

And finally, I photographed Bo and Holly, two 7 month old Shih Tzu’s who also love to play together. They have an older Shih Tzu brother named Kirby who holds the fort down while they are frolicking in the grass. They’ve never met a leaf they didn’t like!

And they love to run together!
