Here’s how it started: ”I’m interested in having some portraits done of my 4 little geriatric dogs. . . . I would like to have them all together in one portrait – one is blind (and stubborn), one is a diva, the other two might respond a little better to orders but none of them is really “trained.” Am I crazy?? I’d just like to capture them all together since they’re getting older and they’re such a huge part of my life.”
And, here’s how it ended:
All four of these dogs were adopted. Ninja and Sassy came from the Best DAWG rescue in Bethesda, MD. Poppy came from the Animal Welfare Society of Howard County and was blind when he was adopted. They thought he’d live the rest of his life there until his adopter saw him and knew he had to join her family. Keebler was adopted from the Orange County Animal Shelter in Chapel Hill, NC. They couldn’t be more loved.

Keebler loves to lounge on the furniture.
We created a series just for Keebler.
Here is how Keebler and Sassy looked as we were leaving. Poppy and Ninja were sleeping in the other room.
