Picnic Time!!! Fairfax Pets on Wheels

We had the opportunity to photograph the canine volunteers for Fairfax Pets on Wheels at their annual picnic.  We’re going to create fun pet trading cards and unique photo notepads for the human volunteers using these images.DogsDogsDogs

Fairfax Pets on Wheels 2008 Picnic

Remember those crazy, extremely hot days we were having here in Virginia?  Well, on one of those days, Fairfax Pets on Wheels had their annual volunteer appreciation picnic.  As a former participant in Fairfax Pets on Wheels with my dog, Chica, I was proud to be there photographing the animals for pet trading cards.  If you don’t know about the Fairfax Pets on Wheels Program, it is a wonderful organization.  As quoted from their website:  “Fairfax Pets On Wheels connects pets with people living in nursing homes and assisted living facilities.” Here’s a link to find out more  http://www.fpow.org/ (make sure to watch the video):
