Here are some of the wonderful dogs and cats that visit people in nursing and assisted-living facilities in Fairfax County with the Fairfax Pets on Wheels program. If you’ve ever thought about volunteering with your best friend, please check out their website – it is a truly wonderful organization!

Meet Barley.
Meet Cooper.
Barley and Cooper get to visit this park with their family for walks all the time, and this time, we got to come along to capture some family portraits.
These two gorgeous boys are the adopted brothers of Tater and Chase.
Meet Henry. He’s a Catahoula/Coon Hound mix who was adopted from H.A.R.T. He’d make a great comedian with his deadpan look.
I swear he has a sense of humor because he sure smiled a lot!
This is his brother, Bandit, who is also a rescue.
