We photographed Tootsie (fawn) and Cola (black) in 2006 when they were puppies and had a lot of fun watching their antics.  Well, we had the opportunity to see them again recently and while they are grown up now, and a little prematurely gray, they are still full of antics.  I went back to see the old images and I decided to show a few here along with some of the new ones:

I thought it was funny that Tootsie still likes to chew with his tush in the air.

And here’s Cola – her form has changed, but she’s still an amazing jumper . . .

We love photographing Louie every year for his holiday card!  He is a very handsome pug and every year he amazes me with his eagerness to try anything.  (The promise of chicken when he gets home doesn’t hurt.)

Not only is Louie a volunteer with Fairfax Pets on Wheels, he also volunteers at the library and children come in to read books to him.  Isn’t his attentive face amazing?

Here’s KC.  We love photographing him every year and he just as handsome as always!  I didn’t include his holiday card pictures so that will be a surprise, but here are some others from the session.  KC and his human both volunteer for Fairfax Pets on Wheels and bring lots of smiles to the people they visit in nursing homes.

Here’s wishing everyone a wonderful holiday season!  I’m one of those people who has all the right intentions of getting cards out for Christmas, but never quite make it.  (I think I may have successfully sent out cards in 1995.)  And, every year, I say the same thing – well, I missed Christmas, so I’ll send out New Year’s cards.  That comes and goes and still no mailing.  Believe it or not, one year, I even bought a whole set of St. Paddy’s day cards to send out and, yes, I still have them (along with the ill-fated New Years cards of 2005).  Well, if I had sent out Christmas cards last year, here’s what they would have looked like (yes, they were designed last year and they feature our dogs, Chica and Juno):

I also planned and designed cards this year as well, again featuring Chica and Juno – but at almost 16, Chica isn’t jumping much anymore - I managed to give a few away but I don’t think any of them actually saw a stamp -

So, to all of you successful card senders, I applaud you and I humbly say, thank you!
