I have some of the most creative customers when it comes to holiday cards. Here’s one from last year (featuring Henry and his humans) that I thought would be fun to show given that we’re gearing up for Sandy to come through.  Be cautious and stay safe!

“As long as the pack’s together”

One of the images from our session with four beautiful rescue dogs, Bandit, Henry, Chase and Tater, was selected to be used in The Bark magazine’s current issue (March-May 2012) feature article named “The Pack is Back”.

Unfortunately, Henry and Bandit passed away last year, but this wonderful family has adopted two more rescues, one a special case who had been in foster care for a long time.  The pack really is back.

These two gorgeous boys are the adopted brothers of Tater and Chase.

Meet Henry.  He’s a Catahoula/Coon Hound mix who was adopted from H.A.R.T. He’d make a great comedian with his deadpan look.

I swear he has a sense of humor because he sure smiled a lot!

This is his brother, Bandit, who is also a rescue.

I have some very creative customers when it comes to holiday cards. I can’t wait to see what they come up with next – and every year it has to be something unique. We just finished a session with Henry, an adorable Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, and his people, for their holiday card this year. I’m not sure if I’m going to show this years yet, so let me show you last years.

His owners are wine aficionados and it was clear the card would have a wine-related theme. So, we decided to tell a story with pictures – this was a six-sided tri-fold card.

Even though they said I could, I can’t bring myself to show this years card – it’s gonna be great and I don’t want to spoil the surprise!  So, here’s a sneak peek:
