Jack the Barn Cat

I was hanging around a barn this weekend and met this handsome cat named Jack.

He’s very playful and he loves being with people  . . .

. . . but most of all, he loves watching over the barn to make sure everything runs smoothly.

And now for something totally different . . .

Equine Impressions . . .

I went out to a barn this weekend and created some images for myself.  I am adding equine (horse) photography to my portfolio and spent a few hours at a site visit in preparation for a future shoot.  My goal with these images was to capture the experience I had at the barn.  I saw such interesting light and texture – and movement and stillness – and I wanted to convey that in these images.

If you’d like to see more images from the barn, you can click on this link for a slideshow.
