After our trip to Chincoteague http://pawprintsgallery.com/blog/2009/07/28/chincoteague-beach-walk/, we made our way to Assateague where we were delighted to find some horses on the beach. We followed them as they made their way up the dune . . .
. . . and onto the beach.
They appeared to be very bonded to each other.
So, one day (before the snow and ice) I went out to a local dog park to photograph some bulldogs. I LOVED watching them run at full speed – which is actually pretty darn fast. 
A few years ago, I photographed this handsome little boy with another bulldog in his family – here he is in the original photograph and the most recent image from the dog park.
The white bulldog he’s with is named Delilah. She is a 7 year old special needs rescue and was adopted from Buddies Thru Bullies. This is a non-profit Bulldog rescue organization headquartered in Miami, FL and the host for the annual Bullympics – Olympic Games for Bulldogs (I’m not kidding!) Delilah lives with 2 other Bulldogs, a Pug, a Siamese cat and this four year old boy who loves her desperately.

Here’s Luna, a gorgeous and athletic chocolate lab. Her owner, Laura, is a Realtor who grew up in Northern Virginia, and she is an expert in her field. If you’re in the market for a house – or just starting to think about it, check out her company, Fall Properties.

Laura had a small portrait made of this on a box mount using metallic paper. It looked great!
The following series was created as a box mount storyboard which was the perfect display piece.
We came across this mural and had to have a little fun – Luna was happy to oblige.
Meet Max, Sadie and Jake. Max is an exhuberant Portuguese Water Dog and Sadie and Jake are both beautiful Bombay cats. We had a mixed session with these beautiful animals – by mixed, I mean we created images with Max on-location at the Key Bridge, then came back to the owner’s house to create images with Sadie and Jake in the comfort of their own environment. The goal of this session was a coffee table book. These aren’t just ordinary coffee table books – they are custom-designed by the photographer (me), hand-crafted in Italy and are the highest quality. They are guaranteed for life. Below are a few images from our session and here is a link to the book design.
