I loved working with Callye and Thistle, two absolutely beautiful cats.
One of my favorite things about photographing cats is their unique markings and luminescent eyes. Thistle’s coloring is called dilute calico:
Callye’s coloring is called ring-tailed tabby:
We went for drama . . .
. . . and had to show off Callye’s cool ears . . .
I love cows and enjoy photographing them when I get the chance. I’m always intrigued by their social structure and in awe of the fact that they let me see them just being them. Here are a few from a recent trip at sunrise . . .
They bond to each other and are very affectionate.
This is a mother with her calf and they were very accommodating. I asked them to look at the camera . . .
. . . then to face sideways.
This is the bull of the herd, I didn’t ask him to do anything.
I stepped in a fresh pile for this . . .

When I got a call from a past customer that her Maine Coon named Sissy had just had kittens, I couldn’t wait to see them. At one month old, they are little balls of cuteness.
