I was thrilled to meet Liberty, aka Libby, an adorable Cavachon (Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and Bichon), who is a recent addition to our neighborhood:

I was out of town for the past few weeks traveling around New England, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick (where these images were taken) and absolutely loving the scenery.  We probably stopped at every horse and cow we saw – someone even asked me, “Don’t they have cows in Virginia?”.

This horse was having a ball rolling around in the grass.

Oh, and we had to stop at the Car/Dog Wash – I wish we could have seen it in full use!

Glad to be back (well, kind of) – stay tuned for more dogs next week.

Here’s an image from a recent (and actually current) vacation.  We came up on a sleeping red fox on Prince Edward Island, Canada, and before he ran away, he had to get his stretch in.

Homer and Laddie are dog buddies who live across the country from each other (Laddie lives in Utah), but they recently got to hang out together in Virginia, and I had the opportunity to meet them.  As you’ll see, they are both absolutely beautiful.  Not only that, Laddie is a pro at agility and Homer is a pro at taking care of his three humans.
