Sometimes you find yourself in the wonderful position of meeting an adorable puppy AND having your camera with you. That happened to me twice in two days. I’ll let you know if it happens again tomorrow.

The white puppy with black ears is currently waiting to be adopted at the Animal Welfare League of Arlington – www.awla.org.
I’d like to introduce Shera, one of my very favorite cats. She was adopted from The Feline Foundation and found a wonderful home where she reigns supreme.

Chatchky is a mixed breed dog that was picked up as a stray by animal control, but the animal control officer brought him home instead of to the shelter (because he was too cute!). He lived outside at their house for a while, and then he was put into a new home. The new home wasn’t his forever home. Enter Homeward Trails who helped to re-home him and, well, to say he hit pay dirt is an understatement!
He’s not just a pretty face, he’s also quite the athlete . . .
This image will be displayed as a wall portrait . . .
From a photography perspective, he was an outstanding model. He gave great expressions and was willing to try anything.

The three images below will be displayed in a frame together.
He has the run of a gorgeous home and a backyard with a spectacular vista. We knew that we’d have to try to take at least one image with a sunset in it – which was made very challenging by this crazy weather we’ve been having. But, after rescheduling a few times and waiting patiently for the sun to go down, we got our sunset!
In case you were wondering, Chatchky is 6.5 years old. He loves cheese, the wind on his face, following the stock market with his Dad, car rides, long walks, running & jumping, toys he can tear up and the smell of most flowers his Mom brings home. He doesn’t like the black cat that often hangs out in his yard, frogs, thunder, lemons, and medicine.
This is our last image of the session.
